NOW GROWING: Carex sedge

AUTUMN'S RHYTHM IS SLOW AND SOOTHING as the first misty rains of late October began to soften the soil. So gentle were the rains that the leaves remained on the trees, providing us to a longer display of colors against the clearing skies.

The ornamental grasses at The Gardens are fading to shades of honey brown, while the bright greens and coppers of the Carex divulsa and Carex buchananii continue to bring a burst of color in the garden.
