*Catherine M. Watters was born in Paris, where her love of art and flowers began. Her illustrations appear in 5 books, three in the U.S. and two in France. She exhibits her work in several international shows each year, most recently at at the Oakland Museum, at Filoli Estates in Woodside, at the Weisman Museum in Minneapolis and at the Portland Garden Show.
Catherine teaches classes in the San Francisco Bay Area and at Filoli Estates where she is an artist for the Filoli Florilegium. She served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Botanical Artists from 2000-2006. She also leads garden tours in the Normandy region of France in the summer and lectures regularly on French gardens and Botanical Art.
