Camellia Room

Receptions, parties and meetings can be held in the Camellia Room, with a capacity of up to 150* guests. Light and airy, it has a high beamed ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows that afford sweeping views of Mt. Diablo and the gardens. A spacious wraparound deck provides access to the outdoors while expanding your capacity for guests. This room features all new flooring, a catering kitchen and ice machine. Tables and chairs are included in your rental.

Gazebo & Rose Garden


The stunning Cowden Rose Garden features thousands of roses, continuously blooming from May through October. Right next to the Rose Garden, the rose-covered Gazebo with its imported slate-tile roof is specifically designed to create a dramatic backdrop for wedding ceremonies and other important events. White wooden chairs can be set up on the concrete apron and small lawn in front of the Gazebo.

Patio Areas

This large terrace offers an abundance of olfactory and visual treats. Surrounding the tranquil fountain, concrete-and-tile planters border the patio and are filled with a delightful variety plants in many textures, scents and hues. A caterer-friendly pavilion - complete with sink, electrical outlets, lighting and four easy-access tiled counters - is great for a buffet setup or as a serving station for cocktails.

A qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit, GHF is self supporting through memberships, fundraisers, grants, private donations, facility rentals and program fees.
