a special occasion with an engraved brick (online

Designated
Gifts: Designating your gift to your favorite
program ensures it will grow into the future. Designated
gifts have helped us renovate garden displays, develop new
educational programs for schools and youth, and purchase
new books for the resource library. Upcoming special
projects include tree pruning, path gravelling and updating
teaching materials. If you wish to donate to a specific
project, please call the Administrative Office at 925-947-0571.

Gifts
of Stock and Other Securities: Giving appreciated
stock, mutual funds or other securities can help you avoid
capital gains taxes while providing important support to
the Gardens. To give a gift of appreciated stock, call
the Administrative Office at 925-947-0571 or contact Derek
Radulski (925-930-3864), our representative at Citigroup
SmithBarney.

GHF also offers Corporate
Sponsorships opportunities with our public
fundraising events. The Teddy Bear Tea, held in December, and the Wine & Roses
Benefit Event, held in June, are extremely popular events that
have sold out each year. Both events offer corporate sponsors
broad based visibility while serving to support GHF’s gardens
and programs. Please contact the Administrative Office
at 925-947-0571.

Matching Gifts & Giving
Campaigns: If your employer sponsors a
Matching Gift Program or participates in a company giving campaign
(such as United Way) – please consider designating The
Gardens as the beneficiary.

Corporate and Foundation
Grants: Grants will play a significant role
in The Gardens future. Such funding will provide sustainability
to the gardens and our programs. We welcome the opportunity
to establish new partnerships with the corporate and foundation
community. For further information, please call Elizabeth
Fox, GHF Executive Director at 925-947-0571.
